Christian Science is based wholly on the Bible and the teaching of Christ Jesus. It acknowledges one God, one Creator and Power, who is Love. All things are made by Him, and they are all very good. Man is the image and likeness of God, His beloved child, and is never separated from Him.

Christian Science demonstrates the practicality of Christianity by revealing and applying God’s spiritual, harmonious laws that are constantly in operation in our lives. These laws are the same ones Jesus used and which enable each of us to open our hearts to God to heal any discordant situation.

First, I need to tell you that Christian Science has nothing to do with Scientology. There is no connection whatsoever. Christian Science is God based! It is decidedly Christian, solidly rooted in the Bible, both the Hebrew Scriptures (the Old Testament) and the New Testament teachings of Jesus. It is the recognition and understanding of the eternal laws of God, laws of Good, Love itself, that have always existed and forever uphold creation without condemning or pressing down.

Christian Science recognizes these universal laws as unconditional. Just like the physical law of gravity applies to one and all, even those who do not know about it, just so these eternal laws of God include everyone. That’s what makes it a science because a science applies to everyone without exception. And at the same time isn’t that the ultimate Christianity, to recognize God’s law of love as inclusive of all!

Christian Science is a guide for living the timeless, universal law of Love as taught and practiced by Christ Jesus and which can be demonstrated today, as in Bible times, in practical works of healing.

It is the Science of the Christ-a religion that is Bible based, that reflects what Christ Jesus taught as found in the New Testament regarding man’s relationship to God. Its premise is that man is made in God’s likeness and is therefore spiritual, not material. Man reflects the spiritual and therefore is not matter-based. Everything we see, think, or do, is in our thought, not in our body. And we are not sinners, because God is not a sinner, and we reflect Him.

Christian Science is an explanation of God and man which makes sense to me! It shows me how God supports, heals, and directs me harmoniously in every aspect of my life.
